Eco printing with botanicals is a multi step process from plant to scarf. It takes several hours or even days to create a single scarf and every scarf is unique in the way in which it takes on colour. Variations in colour, even within a scarf, are normal and contribute to the distinct appeal of each hand dyed scarf.
The shorter scarves are 6” wide x 24” long. The longer scarves are 8" wide x 54" long. They are made from a plain weave silk. The hems have been hand stitched. These scarves were hand dyed/printed by me in my smoke free home.
You may wash this scarf by hand in cold water with a gentle detergent designed for delicates. Do not wash with any other items. Squeeze to remove excess water. Do not wring it out. Press dry with an iron on the silk setting on top of a plain weave pressing cloth. You may also hang this scarf to dry.
